I had this company out to replace 2 springs. They gave me a quote over the phone when booking, called as they are on the way and are very efficient about explaining what they plan to do when they visit. The technician also checked the opener motor and repaired the light on the opener at no charge. Years ago I had another local company out, and they charged $600 for the same scope that was only 370 here! I highly recommend Northside Garage Doors!

Indy Northside is amazing company. Our garage opener stopped working properly, and i was on the market for a brand new system, silent and easy to use system. I did some research, and we have choosen a Dc battery backup belt drive motor gargare opener system with wi-if capability. The brand is Liftmaster elite series 8550WL. Belt drive system, dc motor designed for quiet long-lasting service, warranty lifetime on motor and belt. Bulit- in Wi-if, free myQ mobile app, real time alerts, security +2.0 which sending a new code with every click, posilock electronically protects against force openings, motion detector lights the way automatically. This is one of the best and more app friendly system I have ever owned.

Let me tell you about this company! I have over the years used them a few times and as a single woman I am very suspicious of companies that do work.
A few years back my door would not open and I had to go to work. I got the door open and left my checkbook at home with my teenage children and Northside Garage Door was coming out to take a look at the problem. They discovered the issue was a loose cable, tightened the cable. They charged a run free at $80 and walked away. What could have happened was two teenage children home alone with no adult available to tell them that this was not the problem. This company could have billed hundred of dollars for services not needed and called it a win. NOT SO!
And then today happened! I go out to the garage to leave for work at 7:35 and SNAP GOES THE SPRING! Good morning Wendy! Yeah, NO! I call my boss and say I’ll be Late, call for a ride to work and then call Northside at 7:40 nearly in tears. The gentleman on the phone says “I’ll be there in 15 minutes”. Wait WHAT? I hoped for this afternoon, but now? Sweet! It’s currently 8:05 and he’s working on replacing the spring. I can’t say enough about the honestly and service this company provides.
The guys are super pleasant. One guy is heavily tatted and about the nicest guy on the planet! Phone service is top notch. The service man here now is a gem.
My mom is a retired person and swears by them. You can’t go wrong here folks!!!

I called and explained to Paul that my nephew had swept out my garage after which I could no longer close the door from the outside. He said “I can get somebody out there by Thursday, but if you want I can talk you through it over the phone”. I’m thinking this poor man has no idea that he’s talking to a doddery old bat who’s 2 clicks away from being a luddite but I went with it. He told me how to readjust the sensors. He waited for me to retest the remote function from outside. He gave me tips of what to look for in the future and completely solved my problem OVER THE PHONE!! I dare anyone to ask me for a referral on garage door repair, maintenance or installation because if it’s integrity you’re looking for – the name is Paul at Northside Garage Door Systems!

We have called Northside to fix our garage doors for as long as I can remember (2 different houses) and we are grateful to have them available to us for repairs. They are professional, prompt, courteous, efficient, reasonable, and kind. When your garage doesn’t open or close or you have a problem, you don’t really want to wait. It’s so nice that they’ll will come out same day usually and quickly fix the problem, and while they are there they do a little extra lubricating and sprucing up to the the opener and its parts. Northside Garage Door gives good and prompt service and has people that care, and that is all one wants these days but it can be hard to find. Call them for new garage doors, extra remotes (just call and pick them up), repairs, or keypad installations. I highly recommend them!

These guys were terrific!
Our garage door was behaving erratically, and we were getting ready to go on a trip out of state. They ensured that someone would be able to meet us that day, they worked around our schedule, and they arrived right on time.
Once there, the technician (I forget his name, but he had lots of tattoos and was super nice) identified the issue (bad wiring on one of the eyes), but went above and beyond to provide a full tuneup for free! He adjusted the position of the garage door, oiled the hinges and rollers, adjusted the spring, etc. He also examined the age of our motor and gave me an estimated ETA on needing a new one, educated me about the differences between difference garage door styles, and generally painted a great picture of the garage door market and the ins and outs of maintenance.
I cannot recommended these guys enough.
